Wish Granters are Starlings whose job is to travel to Wishworld to help make wishes come true and collect Wish Energy.
A profession, to grant the Wishers their wishes. When a Starling has graduated they are chosen to grant a specific wish. But with the Star Darlings, they grant wishes before they graduate because an unknown evil force is threatening Starland. Starlings have to keep their duties as wish-granters a secret from most others, especially in Wishworld, to avoid putting Starland at great risk.
