The Star Dipper is the seventh episode in the Star Darlings animated series. It focuses on Vivica trying to bully Scarlet by attempting to ruin her drawing.
Description[]
When mean girl Vivica tries to destroy Scarlet's drawing, she suddenly gets levitated and tossed all about by someone using Wish Energy.
Plot[]
In the Celestial Cafe, Scarlet is drawing a portrait of herself playing the drums. Suddenly, Vivica shows up and glances at her drawing. Then, as she passes, Vivica refers to Scarlet as a "Star Dipper." Vega, meanwhile, explains to Sage that when she tries to levitate anything much heavier than her pen, it just falls. Sage tries to reassure her by telling her that everything is in her head. To upset Scarlet, Vivica stealthily steals Vega's pen and slashes ink across Scarlet's sketch. While somewhat offended, Scarlet got the fantastic idea to use the ink to darken the backdrop of her sketch, to make it look cool. Vivica was shocked and furious, but she has a change of mind after spotting a glass of juice that Sage is using to attempt to help Vega float heavier objects.
Vega is a little sidetracked while attempting to concentrate on levitating the cup because Leona and Libby were gazing at images of Ganymede. Vega gets frustrated, but Sage congratulates her and she emphasizes that she has complete control over the cup. Vega, on the other hand, confirms that she isn't doing that. Vivica was the user who lifted the cup as she continued to attempt to ruin Scarlet's sketch. Luckily, Scarlet stops the juice from spilling and begins playing with Vivica while she continues to draw.
As the other Star Darlings observe this, Scarlet advises Vivica to quit picking on her and damaging her artwork. Vivica denies doing anything of the sort, to which Scarlet responds by warning Vivica not to act innocent, play dumb, or deny it when she does so. She claims that Vivica is awful at each of the three. When Vivica tells Scarlet to set her down, she is dropped onto a magical platform that Scarlet had made and spills some juice on the ground. Scarlet is told by Vivica that no matter how noble her actions appear to be, she will always be a "Star Dipper."
Before leaving, Vivica slipped on the juice. Scarlet declared that she would much rather be a "Star Dipper" than not have any stars at all. The other Star Darlings mutter to one another that Scarlet ought to teach them how to use wish energy. In the final scene of the episode, Vivica kicks the empty glass.
