The Star Keychains were keychains in the form of stars or hearts that were handed to some of the Star Darlings to aid in their mission. They were meant to bring the Star Darlings luck, but they instead contained negatite. Because the keychains included negatite, the Star Darlings who received them experienced difficulties with their Wish Missions. As it turned out, Lady Rancora, posing as Lady Cordial, had attached the keychains to the Star Darlings' bags.

On their way to their wish missions, the following Star Darlings received their keychains from Lady Cordial: Sage, Libby, Leona, Vega, Cassie, and Piper
Scarlet, Clover, and Gemma did not get their key rings because Ophelia was sent instead of Scarlet, Clover was not informed of the wish-orb so she went on her mission alone, and Gemma was sent to grant a bad wish.
Rancora revealed that she had filled them with Negative Wish Energy. As a result, each of them acted differently but effectively hindered the wish mission.
