Much like how Vega wants to be excellent as much as she can in academics, staff members want the same for the wiki.
The Staff of the Star Darlings Wikia are users who are in charge of administration, formatting, moderation, and editing of a wiki. Anyone can become a staff member if given the role by an admin, and staff membership can be revoked if the rules aren’t followed correctly. Active Staff members are all denoted by their usernames glowing in a special font and color with a

Hiiii, I’ve been the new (and seemingly only, as the other two have poofed) bureaucrat of this wiki since July 26th, 2022 thanks to my adoption request! I mainly decided to adopt the wiki since this show was my childhood and I want to try to revive the fandom, and also the wiki was just messy lol. It deserves more attention. Staff Member Roles
- Adminstrators, or admins for short, are users who have all the abilities of Content Moderators and Thread Moderators. They're also able to block users from editing and other actions. They can give and take away the rights of Rollbacks and Thread Moderators, edit the design and format of the wiki, and edit MediaWiki pages.
- Bureaucrats have all the powers of adminstrators, in addition to the following; changing and assigning user rights, blocking and unblocking users. They cannot take away the Bureaucrat status of other users, but can remove their own. They cannot put it back however. Bureaucrats can take away bot statuses. They're usually also considered adminstrators.
- Content Moderators, Content Mods, or just Mods, are users who are able to edit and move fully protected pages, delete and undelete pages and files, edit and move protected files, rollback, giving and removing protection from pages, patrolling pages if the feature is enabled, deleting and undeleting article and blog comments, and deleting, undeleting, editing, locking and unnlocking wall threads.
- Discussions Moderators. Discussion Mods, or Mods are users who are able to remove and restore threads as well as replies by any user, close and reopen replies by any user, delete comments on blog posts, edit and delete comments on articles, and moderating discussions.
- Rollbackers are users able to 'rollback', meaning they can revert any vandalism or edits made with bad intentions in one click via using the rollback link on diff pages, user's contributions pages, or the list of recent changes. Content Moderators and adminstrators have the ability to rollback by default.
- The Founder of the wiki gains adminstrator and bureaucrat rights by default. However, technically speaking they are no different from other bureaucrats and adminsrators.
Applications
As the Star Darlings Wikia as a whole is being updated and fixed up, we are happy to review any requests to become part of the staff! If you are interested in potentially becoming a member of the staff, please contact an active bureaucrat or admin.
Currently, the wiki isn't in need of new moderators or rollbackers. However, in the event activity on the wiki increases moderators and rollbackers will definitely be sought out.
