Welcome visitors and contributors to the Star Darlings Wikia! As we strive to make this a sanctuary for Star Darlings fans, we must put in rules and regulation to maintain a pleasant atmosphere and ease management. These rules do not encapsulate every single thing for the wiki, and are subject to change at any time. Please take the time to read the following rules! Not seeing these isn't an excuse, since they're linked in the navigation bar and on the main page.

General Rules
- Please know the policies for editing! Both editors and community members need to know what is and isn’t accepted for editing. Check the Editing policies.
- Admins prepare! Administrators have every right to protect the wiki if a wave of unwanted/distasteful contributions are made. In such an event, pages may be unable to be edited to make the admin’s work easier. If that’s the case, a notice will be put on the page.
- No Advertisements! Please refrain from promoting your wiki here or using this wiki to recruit people. If you need to find assistance, head to Community Central. For promotions related to Star Darlings such as fanfiction, edits, fanart, etc. promotion is acceptable in blog or discussion posts, as well as the Fancontent Promotions page which is free for any acceptable promotions. If you’d like to be affiliates with the Star Darlings Wikia, please see Affiliates.
- Edits should ONLY be for IMPROVEMENT. Edits made solely for the sake of it are not allowed. Contributions must have the well-being of the wiki in mind,
- No Vandalism. Don’t mess up the wiki, regardless of your intentions with the vandalism. Please see our policy for this down below for more details.
- Harassment, bullying, racism, sexism, homophobia, etc. and any kind of bigotry or hate speech is strictly forbidden. In a similar vein, usage of slurs of any kind regardless of whether or not you can reclaim them is forbidden.
- Don’t bring any drama from this wiki to another wiki or vice versa. Self explanatory.
- Only post things you own! When sharing fanwork that is not yours, please give credit.
- Don't cause discourse in comment sections. Article comments and blogs are for actual conversations and discussions-please do not argue excessively. In a similar vein, please do not use extreme profanity or swear a lot in comments, blogs, and the like. Please also avoid necroposting unless it's still relevant or you have something worth contributing, otherwise you'll receive a warning and appropriate consequences.
- Have common decency. Please don't go out of your way to offend, disrespect and hurt users in any manner. Don't forget to challenge the argument and not the person when applicable.
- Respect staff members. Listen to them and consider whatever they say. They're here in order to make sure the wiki runs smoothly and that your experience here is satisfactory, so cooperate with them.
- Don't encourage people to break the rules. Self explanatory.
- As long as alternate accounts aren't used to avoid bans, they're allowed on the wiki. Self explanatory.
- You must be 13 years old or older to edit. This in accordance with Fandom Wikia's policies as a whole. Any account confirmed to belong to someone below 13 years old will be blocked until it reaches that age. If you think a user is underage, send a calm message about it to a staff member that contains proof.
Spam and Vandalism Policy
- Any posts or edits that are obviously spam will be deleted sooner or later. If it's only tame content, the user(s) will be given a warning and a block ranging from a day, week, or month.
- If it's a repeated offense, the user(s) will be blocked indefinitely with no warning.
- If there's several spam posts/edits or vandalism, that's very high in severity content-wise (such as hate speech or NSFW) all of the offending posts will be deleted and the user will be blocked across the wiki forever. No warning will be given.
Reporting and Blocking Users

In general, our rule of thumb is that if the offense is highly severe or occurs chronically that fits the requirements to get a long lasting, if not infinite block with no warning. Users who have light offenses such as making a few unneeded pages (which is against the Editing Policies) or mild, unoffensive spam will receive a warning and a block ranging from a day to a month. This applies to most, if not all of the above rules and Editing Policies.
Any and all extreme amounts of hate speech, misinformation, bigotry, disturbing and mature content are subject to an immediate block that lasts forever with no warning. Occurrences such as a few ignorant remarks are subject to a warning and a block lasting a month at minimum. If you are given a warning you have the option to appeal if you believe there was a misunderstanding, and/or apologize and make up for your actions. However, if your argument for having not done anything wrong is poorly made your block will not be removed and may even be extended. Users that have received warnings and/or blocks are listed on the Odd Wall.
We have zero-tolerance for users that exhibit inappropriate behaviors including to but not limited to pedophilic and incestuous ones. Users who display signs of behaviors like those will be confronted and blocked completely as soon as possible. We'll also try to report them to Fandom Wikia if more action is needed. Users who have engaged in strong harrassment, bullying, abuse and the like with no signs of stopping or apologizing will also be confronted and blocked infinitely.
Attempting to circumvent blocks through making other accounts or other forms of harrassment/intimidation will result in a block extension, IP block, and/or a report to Fandom Wikia.
In all cases, any offensive and upsetting content will be deleted as soon as possible.
Reporting Users
If you feel that a user is guilty of an offense, please contact an active staff member and send them a message containing evidence. Screenshots will be accepted as evidence, but links are also strongly encouraged to be sent as well.
If a severe case of vandalism or spam hasn’t been dealt with in 3 days, you are welcome to report the case to SOAP for them to cleanup the wiki.
Discussion Guidelines
- The majority of the general rules of the wiki apply to discussions.
- Posts made for the sole purpose of gaining upvotes will be deleted.
- For your own safety, refrain from posting extra personal information. In the same vein, doxxing of other users is not accepted and will lead to a ban.
- Please put your posts in the relevant category! Posts that aren’t will be moved to the correct one.
- Spamming, trolling, vandalism and the like are unacceptable and will be deleted. Please see our Spam and Vandalism policy on the Rules.
- Staff members are the only ones allowed to post in the Community Decisions category.
- Credit any fanwork you post.
- Be kind and respectful to other users. Posts and threads that are hurtful and/or offensive will be locked or deleted.
- Try not to necropost unless it's still relevant or you have something worth saying, if not you'll receive a warning and appropriate consequences.
These guidelines also apply to blog posts and comments.
