Starlings benefit from the abundance of shooting stars in the galaxy. Shooting stars are not only stunning, but also useful—the people of Starland use them to travel to Wishworld! To attach themselves to a shooting star, a starling employs a potent wish energy orb. It detaches itself upon entering Wishworld and, with the use of energy, gently touches down on the surface. The trip is the most incredible, intriguing ride ever! A starling can then fold and carry the magical mini-star that is created when the shooting star shrinks into its smaller size.
When the job is finished, the wish granter uses the positive wish energy burst that results from the granted wish to head back to Starland. If her task is unsuccessful, she can always reactivate her magic star to travel back to her home.
So, the next time you see a shooting star, know that someone else's wish is about to come true. Perhaps even yours!
