Rupert Dag teaches Astronomics at Starling Academy. Buttoned-up and by the numbers, Professor Dag is kind of a sourpuss but greatly respected. Astronomics is a dry profession-basically math and accounting as applied to space and energy principles-so the people involved in it tend to be starched, stiff, awkward, and nerdy. But they are also brilliant, and no one can deny that Professor Dag is all those things!
