Professor Dolores Raye is a teacher at Starling Academy. She is a nuts-and-bolts, by-the-book instructor. She can be short and impatient with students and has a reputation for being the exact opposite of Professor Bright. She teaches about the manipulation of wish energy, and her students who take one of her Wishful Thinking classes quickly learn she is all business. Wish energy is not something to be trifled with, as Professor Raye points out constantly. But because of her dedication, when her students graduate and go to Wishworld, they really know what they're doing.
