Kate Micucci is an American Actress, comedian and musician. She is best known for her roles in The Lego Batman Movie, DuckTales and Steven Universe. She is the main voice actor of Cassie in the Star Darlings animated series.
Biography[]
Micucci was born to an Italian-American family in Jersey City, New Jersey. She was brought up as a Catholic in Nazareth, Pennsylvania, which is located in the Lehigh Valley area of eastern Pennsylvania. Her mother taught her how to play the classical piano.
At Nazareth Area High School, Micucci earned her diploma in 1998. In 2003, she earned a B.A. in studio art from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles after earning an A.A. in visual arts from Keystone College in La Plume, Pennsylvania.
Among Micucci's many television acting roles and commercials are those of Toni the barista on NBC's Four Kings, as well as guest appearances on Malcolm in the Middle, 'Til Death, How I Met Your Mother, Cory in the House, The Big Bang Theory, Campus Ladies, and Scrubs. Micucci also has recurring roles on Raising Hope and Scrubs. She has acted in movies including When in Rome, Bart Got a Room, and The Last Hurrah. On the HBO series Elevator, created by Runawaybox, she portrayed Lily, the IT girl. She released the five-track EP Songs at the start of 2009.
