The Illumination Library is the library at Starling Academy.

The library is incredibly large and contains nearly all holo-books that have ever been produced. Additionally, there are special collections on a variety of specialised subjects, such as the causes of negative energy, as well as a library of all the interesting devices created on Starland.
While not printed, holo-books resemble books on Wishworld. They are kept in holo-holders that open to reveal the page and project it into the air. Thousands of books can be stored in the holders.
The Illumination Library is a calm space intended for reading, studying, and contemplation, much like any other library. The staff is really knowledgeable and supportive. The Lightning Lounge is located right outside the main library. There, students adore to congregate. One benefit is the abundance of free refreshments. The lounge is furnished with cosy couches and chairs, plush rugs, and thick pillows. At either end of the room, there are two fires, and the roof retracts so that pupils can observe the stars.
