Sage and the Journey to Wishworld[]
At the beginning of the year of Starling Academy, following Lady Stella's welcome call for new students, the principal announced that each student would receive a message on her Star-Zap telling her where to go. Twelve girls received the message "SD" on their Star-Zaps and a request to report to the Headmistress's office.
On the spot, Lady Stella said that it has long been known that the most Positive Wish Energy is generated by the wishes of young Wishers. According to her theory, if a young resident of the Starland grants a wish to a young Wisher, this unique combination will trigger the release of a huge amount of positive wish energy. To find out, she wanted to send them to the Wishworld, for the first time in history. However, she made a reservation that their mission must remain a secret, and that they would only be different from other students in the fact that they would attend additional classes - for others they would be a monitored group of learning (a special "research group"). At the end of the meeting, the director handed out the wish charms to everyone. After that, she introduced them to Lady Cordial, who was to inform them of the wishes ready to be donated.
In the first special class, Lady Stella introduced Professor Margaret Dumarre, who was to teach them everything they knew about the Wishworld education system. As this was not a known area, the director asked Star Darlings for observations from their missions, which they could write down as mental notes in a Cyber Journal.
Libby and the Class Election[]
One evening after Sage's wish mission, after dinner, the girls noticed mysterious bouquets in their rooms, which (as it turned out) caused arguments.
Eugenia Bright conducted the next Sage mission classes. During them, they discussed what went wrong during the mission and how to avoid it during the next missions. Lady Cordial appeared during a special lecture. Astra guessed that Sage's mistake was to identify the wish before verifying the author of the wish. The professor explained that the fulfillment of a wish will bring no energy, if the specific author of the wish has not been expressed by its specific author, and in addition it has exhausted her energy reserves of wishes. Vega added that according to the statistics, the incorrect identification of the wishbinder is one of the main reasons for the failure of half of the wish missions.
After the class, Leona said that she wanted to start a band, and only invited Star Darlings to auditions.
After a successful mission, before Lady Stella could present her a wish-ball, the Headmistress received an urgent message. Star Darlings overheard that one of them is not the real Star Darling. Upon returning to Lady Stella's office, she announced that she needed to postpone the presentation for another day. She asked Scarlet to stay because she had bad news for her.
Leona's Unlucky Mission[]
After the band's first rehearsal for Star Darlings, Sage received a message from Cassie in which she wrote that she had seen Lady Cordial enter Lady Stella's office accompanied by some Star Darling resident, and that she was sure it was the new Star Darling.
When they all went there to check, Lady Stella summoned the others to her and invited them in. There she introduced them to Ophelia, who had replaced Scarlet. As Lady Cordial explained, the mistake was due to a glitch in the identification program. Ophelia also replaced Scarlet as Leona's new roommate. Following this announcement, Lady Stella finally presented Libby with her wish ball, which turned into a pink cinnamon - her personal wishbone, which contained a crystal - a charm she could keep.
The next day, they met professor Illumia Wickes who was teaching the theory of wishes at a special class. They discussed various wish scenarios and how they should act, but after a sudden quarrel, they spent the rest of their classes discussing the wishful thinking of young women from the Wishworld.
After Leona's mission, she returned to her room, wanting to be alone for a while, but found Scarlet there. A friend wanted to talk to her, but Leona was not in the mood to talk to her, so she asked her to.
Vega and the Fashion Disaster[]
The first attempt of the band after Leona's mission was not successful because of the singer's frustration, so they interrupted the meetings until she felt better. After the trial, Vega went to the garden maze. After relaxing for a while, she decided to talk to Cassie about Leon. The younger friend agreed to talk to Leona during the dinner, after which they both headed towards the Celestial Cafeteria. After supper, they asked to come to her room, but after talking about Ophelia, Leona got upset, mentioning that she had seen Scarlet, but before they could ask about her, she asked them to leave the room.
After all, Vega noticed that Leona got along well with Ophelia, and not like her with Piper. This made Cassie pause as she figured she and Sage hadn't argued anymore since they got rid of the coral bouquet. To check it, Vega suggested that the bouquet be examined in the Botanical Laboratory. Before breakfast, they took Vega's and Piper's bouquet there.

On that day, the activities were conducted by Lucrezia Delphinus and focused on the most difficult stage of the wish-giving process - wish-recognition.

In the evening, after the mission, Vega got a message from Scarlet that she asked for a meeting in the garden maze.
Scarlet Discovers True Strength[]
After receiving confirmation from Vega, she went to meet her. She told her that Ophelia should never be chosen in her place, with which Vega agreed. When they started talking about Cassie and the flowers, Vega promised to let her know when they discovered something. At the end, Scarlet promised her that she would start attending classes.
After dinner, when she returned to her room, she decided to discover for herself the reason why she had been replaced by Ophelia. She used her roommate's costumes and headed for Aureolium. In the third stellation she found a room with schoolgirls' holoacts, but the office turned out to be closed. That evening, she slipped out of the room to take a walk. She went to the caves beneath the Academy through a passage that she had discovered before Lady Stella showed them. She accidentally found an entrance to the student holoact archive there. In the morning she tried to meet Lady Stella, but when she met Lady Cordial he told her that she had looked at her holoacts and said that they did not concern her at all. Lady Cordial said she would notify Lady Stella. Scarlet shared her discovery with Vega and Cassie. Then suddenly Cassie received a message from the Botanical Laboratory.
After they found out about the bouquets and negative energy, Star Darlings got the message that another wish ball had been recognized, and although Scarlet wanted to go with them, her friends dissuaded her from doing it. Afterwards she found out that the orb chose Ophelia, which shocked her. After the Lighterature class, after Leona helped her, she wanted to convince her to return to the band, which Scarlet, however, did not want. During the conversation, Leona got an urgent message about Ophelia, so Scarlet followed her.
After the mission, it became clear that Ophelia was never a true Star Darling, that Scarlet was.
Cassie Comes Through[]
After the Ophelia and the flowers case was cleared, Cassie, Vega and Scarlet concluded that someone was deliberately sabotaging their mission. Of the bouquets received, only the one in Clover and Astra's room remained. After she was released from the wish recognition class, she ran into Ophelia - she was surprised that she was not in her class either.
Since Scarlet and Vega were occupied, Cassie decided to get rid of the bouquet herself from Clover and Astra's room. In the room of her older friends, despite several attempts, she failed to persuade Astra to throw away the flowers. She managed to throw them away only when she asked Astra for help with PE - after several ball passes with the star catchers, Cassie grabbed the vase and threw it out the door when Clover entered the room.
On the same day, at a dinner party, Star Darlings were invited to a nail art event. Before leaving, Cassie noticed Ophelia sitting alone, and therefore invited her to a party. During the party, all the Star Darlings had their nails painted, and after that Cassie gained confidence and the other girls also developed strange habits.
The next day, during a special lecture, they met Kiri Lillibelle, who chose their mirror mantras.
After the mission, she met the remaining Star Darlings in her room. She told them that all the strange things that had happened recently had to do with Ophelia. As Leona disagreed with it, they decided to clarify it with Ophelia. The girl's room turned out to be empty, however, and the word "sorry" was written on the wall. At the same time, the Starland plunged into darkness for the first time in history.
Piper's Perfect Dream[]
Before the holiday, Piper had a dream, after which she became convinced that this time she would go to the Wishworld. But she wondered why her dream suddenly took an unpleasant turn. On the morning of Star Kindness Day, when all messages prepared by Starling Academy students were sent at the same time during the roll call, it turned out that after sending the messages to the recipients, they were completely distorted. Seeing the growing confusion, the director decided to postpone the celebration until the problem was solved. As Piper stood close to Lady Stella, she heard him say there was more to this than a mere technical glitch. After that, she decided to meditate in the winter orchard. However, after a while she received a message from Vega, who reminded her about the classes.
After the lessons, in the headmistress's office, where special SD lessons were held, Lady Stella decided to talk to the girls about what had happened. She asked them to say compliments aloud. After a moment, Lady Cordial entered the office, but Lady Stella told her that this was not a good time. After the class, Libby and Gemma invited their friends to their room. Before going to bed, Piper suggested they imagine their wish balls, and when the other Star Darlings also saw Piper's visualization, Piper was convinced it would be her turn this time. In her dream she saw a dark figure that gave the impression that she was not what she appeared to be.
Astra and Piper only after their return noticed that the other Star Darlings were behaving strangely.
