Synopsis[]
Starf! The day Cassie has been dreading since she first arrived at Starling Academy is here. She has been chosen to make the journey to Wishworld for the next Wish Mission. Lady Stella, the headmistress, assures her she's going to do a starmendous job. Cassie is so sensitive and perceptive she'll be a natural! But her mission is even harder than she feared.
Everything just seems all wrong. And there's no help in sight. Could Cassie be the first Star Darling who simply can't make her Wisher's wish come true?

Cassie tends to be hypersensitive and moody. She needs to learn to not take everything so personally and control her moods, while staying true to her imaginative, compassionate self. The Star Darlings are struggling with their conflicts and issues of trust and friendship.
Cassie's Mission: Cassie's Wisher wants to be taken seriously and named Student of the Month. Cassie finds the loud girl abrasive and is having a lot of trouble figuring out how to help her. But luckily, there is a full moon, which makes Cassie even more intuitive than usual. She is able (with the Star Darlings' help) to step into the girl's shoes and come up with a solution, to shine a positive light on her big personality so it is no longer seen as a negative distraction but as an asset.
