Cassie’s Wish Mission is the sixth of twelve wish missions to take place in the Star Darlings book series. Cassie's mission takes place in the sixth book Cassie Comes Through.
Story[]
Prepartion[]
During a unique class with Kiri Lillibelle, Cassie received a holo-text of the newly discovered wish orb. Even though Cassie always felt anxious upon being selected for a mission, this time she was composed and prepared. A wish orb in the Wish Cavern appeared on the platform and Cassie held out her hand to the wish orb, which went to Cassie immediately.
Journey[]
Cassie finished putting together her Wishworld clothing the morning of the mission while she lay in bed.
She waited for a shooting star at the Wishworld Surveillance Deck while donning protective starglasses. She received a silver bag from Lady Cordial that was adorned with a fluffy silver star.
Mission[]
Lila's Wish[]
After landing on Wishworld, Cassie folded the star and put it in her backpack along with the starglasses and modifying her clothing to the stormy weather. When she arrived at the school, the headmistress led her to the class of her wisher. She came upon the "student of the month" trophy along the way, and the teacher informed her that a student named Annabel had won it three months in a row for her performance and model behaviour.
Although she hadn't yet found her wisher in the class, she did learn from Annabel that a new "student of the month" will be announced the following morning. After some time had passed, Cassie's wisher, Lila suddenly entered the room. The girl seemed to have a good sense of humour and was liked by most people. After class, the teacher asked Annabel to direct Cassie to the lunch.
She was repulsed by Annabel's terrible behaviour before entering the cafeteria. While sitting with Lila at lunch, Cassie discovered that Annabel was always picked for student of the month because she pretended to be kind to the teachers. Wanting to spend more time with Lila, Cassie went to the ice rink after school. Lila extended a home invitation to her after an hour of skating.
Cassie noted that Lila was really brilliant at math but not so good at reading comprehension when they started working on their homework after dinner. The girl admitted that she wanted her teacher, Mrs. Olds, to like her. She was pleasant and supportive in class, just like when she helped her skate, and Cassie told her to save jokes for lunch and break times.
Cassie's plan and the granting of a wish[]
The plan to impress the teacher had only one flaw: Annabel. Even though Cassie only had six hours to grant the wish, every attempt ended in failure. Annabel shouted a response as soon as Lila asked for one. The girl offered to assist Mrs. Olds in carrying the books, but Annabel shoved her and made a show of tidying up the spill. It turned out that Lila’s homework was missing when the teacher asked for homework. Cassie tried to hush Lila when she tried to make a joke about the circumstance, and she was successful, resulting in finding her special talent—the capacity to alter the volume of noises.
She ran into Scarlet after the lecture in the hallway and told her about her issue. She also invited her to enrol in her course. The two women left the classroom after Mrs. Olds introduced Scarlet to the class and told her to sit next to Annabel. When Cassie saw Annabel intended to ridicule her buddy. Cassie increased her voice. Lila heard cheers after standing up for Scarlet; her favourite teacher had been praising her and chasing Annabel. In addition, the girl was named the student of the month by the headmistress, fulfilling her wish.
Aftermath[]
Back at the Academy, Cassie received her wish orb from Lady Stella, which changed into a Silverbella - her wish blossom. She found a Lunalite, her power crystal, inside.
