Alisha Wainwright is an American actress best known for her roles in Raising Dion and Shadowhunters. She is the voice actor of Leona in the Star Darlings animated series for episodes 3-12, excluding Rising Starlings.
Biography[]
In Orlando, Florida, Alisha Wainwright was born and reared. Her father is Haitian, while her mother is from Jamaica.
Wainwright made her debut in a YouTube video comedy sketch in 2012, and since then, she has made appearances in a number of movies and TV shows, including Lethal Weapon and Breaking Bad. Her casting as the werewolf Maia Roberts on Freeform's fantasy series Shadowhunters, based on Cassandra Clare's The Mortal Instruments book series, was made public in September 2016. She first appeared in season 2 as a recurring character before being elevated to series regular for season 3. Raising Dion on Netflix starring Wainwright at the moment.
