Adora is one of the twelve main characters in the Star Darlings animated and book series. She is the main point of view for the tenth Star Darlings book Adora Finds a Friend. She first appears in the episode Star Charmed and is voiced by Libe Barer. Adora's roommate at Starling Academy is Tessa and her first Wisher on Wishworld is Hannah.

History[]
Adora is a great scientist. Clever and admired, she loves analyzing and examining everything. While Adora spends her days in the lab, Adora also loves to wear a glimmering dress and go out dancing too! When she got her first microscope, the very first thing she looked at was a sequin. From that moment on, Adora has dedicated her life to the science of fashion and style.
Whether Adora's trying to create a new sparkly fabric or stardust eyeliner, she throws herself wholeheartedly into her work. She wants to invent a stretchy fabric that responds to music. If Adora succeeds, your clothes will dance with you! She cares about the world around her and is a deep thinker.
Appearance[]
Adora’s theme colour is sky blue. She is a slender teen girl with tan skin, blue eyes, lips, and azure hair held in a bun. Her outfit consists of a dark blue striped sweater underneath a long azure jacket with star patterns, jeans connected with a star belt and a pair of blue shoes to complete her look. Her accessories include her star-charmed watch, a blue star necklace, and a blue satchel with a star for its design.
On Wishworld, Adora’s appearance changes to look like a human. Her hair colour changes to black with only a streak of azure, her eyes turn brown and her skin loses its sparkle. Her outfit consists of a knee legnth collared dress with short sleeves, dark blue pants and a pair of boots to finish her look. The only item that remains the same is her star-charmed watch.
Personality[]
With a calm mind and laser focus, Adora analyses the world around her with facts and reason, the tools she uses to make Starland exceptional. Adora is also rather introverted and at her happiest when she can be alone, conducting chemistry experiments, creating cutting-edge fashions, or a little of both! Adora is clever, a deep thinker and cares about the world around her.
Despite her consideration for her planet, Adora's preference for cold, firm logic shows her lack of empathy, distance from others and irritation when her peers follow their hearts instead of their heads. Most of the time, Adora can also have her head in the clouds and ponder about other things.
Adora's room[]

With a wall of glass, Adora's room has an amazing view of the mountainous skyline right outside her windows. Inside the cozy space, she has everything a budding science fashionista needs. Adora's got the lab equipment to develop and create a new type of fabric or an extra-shimmery sequin, plus space to neatly store her bolts of fabric and a star-sewing machine that can stich fabric at light speed.
Her bed is round and very soft, and the giant headboard is a holo-display of her scientific equations; so when Adora's not sleeping, she can always see what she's working on, in case the perfect fashion solution suddenly comes to her in a flash of genius!

Starling Physiology[]
Being a Starling, Adora possesses all of the natural traits that the species has.
- Wish Energy Manipulation - Adora harnesses positive wish energy for most of her abilities.
- Energy Blasts - As displayed in The Power of Twelve, wish energy can be used to fire streams, bursts, orbs, and waves of offensive power against opponents.
- Force Fields - Demonstrated in the above special, Adora can conjure shields as defense.
- Extended Lifespan - In Scarlet Discovers True Strength, it’s confirmed that Starlings can live for thousands of years, as Mira’s grandmother is over thousands of years old. Before that, in Leona's Unlucky Mission it was hinted that a few decades wasn’t too long in comparison to Starling lifespans. However, they do not have eternal youth, as Professor Elara Ursa is stated to be among one of the oldest wish granters and has clearly aged in a similar manner to a wishling elder.
- Disease Immunity - In Scarlet Discovers True Strength, it states that the wish energy surrounding Starlings keeps them from contracting illnesses.
- Superhuman Knowledge - In Leona's Unlucky Mission, Starlings are shown to be nigh-perfect at mathematics from birth. Astra's Mixed-Up Mission also implies that Starlings are the same way towards literature and similar subjects such as language and grammar.
Wish Mission Signature Powers[]
The Star Darlings each gain a power that is meant to assist with carrying out their wish missions. It is unknown if this is exclusive to them, or if they only work on Wishworld, as Adora uses hers to heal Vega in the The Power of Twelve.
- Healing - Adora uses this power in Adora Finds a Friend to heal someone at camp and in The Power of Twelve to heal a wounded Vega.

- Adora was originally going to be named 'Aquamarine'.
- Adora is the second Star Darlings to reveal her true identity to her wisher, being preceded by Sage.

- Adora is a name likely from Latin, and means adored and beloved.
